Eleanor Barker | 416 365 1960 Ext 242
Eleanor Barker is our Oil and Gas Consultant. She has worked as an oil and gas investment analyst since 1986 advising institutions, corporations and private clients. After many years of analysis of integrated and senior oils, she initiated work on the emerging junior international energy equities in the mid – 1990’s ranging from Bitech, PetroKazakhstan and Arawak (Russia and Caspian region focus) to Serica and Stratic in the UK and Indonesia. Prior to 24 years experience in the investment business, Ms. Barker worked in the corporate financial group of Gulf Canada and had 5 years of operations and business experience with Imperial Oil Limited. She graduated from Queen’s University with an Honours B. Sc. (Chemistry) and holds an MBA from the University of Western Ontario. Eleanor has been the Canadian Director, U. S. National Association of Petroleum Investment Analysts, 1998-2002 and President of the Canadian Association of Petroleum Investment Analysts 1996-7 and 2001-2004. Prior to joining Toll Cross Securities, Eleanor operated Barker Oil Strategies Inc, a private consulting company, in junior international oil and gas research.

Deniz Tura Matten | 416-365-1960 Ext 249
Deniz is our energy analyst. Her career started with Mizuho Bank in New York and subsequently took her to Central Asia and the Caucasus. She managed multi-million dollar projects in the region for various energy companies and agencies including EBRD and World Bank/IFC. She set up a bank in Azerbaijan in the early 2000s, and developed numerous energy investment projects for various multinational corporations in a number of countries, including Azerbaijan, Germany, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan. She holds degrees in Geological Engineering (Middle East Technical University, Ankara) and Business (Harvard). As a Chevening Scholar she got an MBA from the University of London/UK.

Steve Cole | 416 365 1960 Ext 231
Steve Cole is our Director of Mining and Senior Research Analyst. During his career, he has been involved in a number of projects from the feasibility phase to production. Steve's last position was Project Director with Aurora Energy where he was managing the $980 M Michelin project. He was also the Engineering Manager for Fronteer Development Group and managed various engineering studies and projects related to the company's gold projects in Nevada. He has also been the principal process engineer for diverse feasibility studies for commodities such as coal, lead, zinc, silver and PGE's. Steve has a Bachelor of Science (Engineering) from the University of the Witwatersrand and is a Professional Engineer.

Manish Grigo | 416 365 7681
Manish specializes in diversified industries and technology. He joined Toll Cross as a Research Analyst in December 2007 and covered the technology and special situations sectors. He previously worked at Scotiabank as a Financial Advisor dealing with high net worth clients. Manish has an MBA from Cardiff University and has passed the CFA Level 3 examinations.
