Tom has over 20 years of trading experience. Prior to joining Toll Cross Securities, Tom was VP of Equity Trading at RBC Capital Markets following 5 years as a Senior Equity Trader with Royal Bank Investment Management. Tom started his career at Merrill Lynch Canada in floor operations and holds a BA in Business Management from Ryerson Polytechnic Institute, Toronto.

Jim is our resident gold expert. He joins us from First Associates where he covered gold stocks on the institutional desk. He brings over 30 years of Bay Street experience to our institutional sales team. Jim has worked for a number of quality brokerage firms including 10 years at Merrill Lynch and 7 years at Deutsche Bank/DFI. Jim is a graduate of Middlebury College and has an MBA from University of Toronto.

Wayne Hansen | 416.294.3525
Wayne comes to Toll Cross Securities Inc. (TCS) with a diverse background including several years in the retail brokerage of a major Canadian bank. He is a graduate of York University and has an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business.

Rick Pierog | 416.365.1960 ext 229
Rick has over 20 yrs. trading experience, including 13 yrs as an Institutional Floor Trader at Loewen Ondaatje McCutcheon Ltd. and First Boston Canada. He also spent 8 yrs. as a Retail Trader at Research Capital. Rick started his career on the old Toronto Stock Exchange floor at 234 Bay St.

Mr. Samson joined Toll Cross in the summer of 2008. He has over 18 years of experience in the securities industry both in Europe, with Brussels Lambert Bank, and in Canada with several independent dealers, in an institutional sales capacity. He also has considerable Investment Banking experience having worked in the M&A department of Burns Fry and in Corporate Finance at Research Capital Corporation.

Paul received a BBA (Hon) from l’École des Hautes Études Commerciales (Montreal) in 1989, has a Certificate in Economics from the University of Montréal (1987) and is an alumnus of the London Business School, England. Mr. Samson is a member of the CFA Toronto Society.

Shane joined the Institutional Sales team at Toll Cross Securities in May 2008 after a successful sales-career in telecommunications and information technology. He is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario's Commerce and Administration program.
